Hoist, luff, leech and foot dimensions; mast, boom, tack and clew positions.
How we work / Montenegro
A new sail is not ordered by choosing a model and a size. It has to match the boat, the rig, the hardware and the way she is sailed.
Measured on the boat
What must be checked depends on the sail and its installation. We work through the relevant measurements, fittings and finishing choices before the order goes into production.
Hoist, luff, leech and foot dimensions; mast, boom, tack and clew positions.
Luff slides or track, tack and clew fittings, reefing details and foot finish.
Furler model, sheeting positions, blocks and the accessories the finished sail must work with.
How the boat is sailed, by whom, in which conditions and what needs to work better.
From boat to fitted sail
We check the boat and record the details required for that sail and installation.
Cut, construction, cloth, finishing and handling are matched to the boat and its use.
The specification is checked before it is sent for professional sailmaking.
Your sail arrives locally, without leaving you to coordinate an international order alone.
When agreed, we install it, check the setup and make sure it is ready to use.
